Income Night Auditor
Responsibilities
- Properly check and finalize daily hotel revenue report
- Produces the daily operations package
- Reconcile all sales receipts and credit card collections against cashier’s summaries and liaises with the General Cashier to reconcile settlements received from banks.
- Reconcile packages and cover reports and file various documentation for food and beverage control for the Finance Department
- Controls dockets used in all outlets, maintaining correct sequence used at all times, accounting for dockets and making sure cancelled dockets are recorded accordingly
- Controls all food and beverage sales
- Ensures all rebates and miscellaneous charges are supported by documentation detailing the charges.
- Ensure that programs involving coupons, certificates, and vouchers are adequately controlled and safeguards are in place
- Audits and reconciles advance payments and ensures payments have been applied
- Works with General Cashier to check all float totals regularly and keeps control on registers in outlets
- Reconcile revenues on a daily basis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related fields
- CPA–K or ACCA
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hotel industry in Finance department, preferably in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience of OPERA PMS and MICROS POS systems
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and relevant computer applications required
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- High degree of integrity and dependability
- Ability to manage work ensuring that tasks assigned are delivered
- Ability to find creative solutions, offering recommendations
- Ability to handle challenging priorities and assignments
- Physical Able to stand or walk for an extended period

Cost Controller
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall hotel inventory management
- Maintain and update costing schedules for food and beverage items
- Ensure right price and quality of commodities received from suppliers and certify that they adhere to purchase specification
- Ensure that stock records systems are accurate and up-to-date
- Submit stock reports and identify possible reasons when results differ from anticipated targets
- Ensure that official orders have been issued for all purchases
- Advice on the cost of breakages and spoilage of stock
- Implement and review stock and cost controls and put in place remedial action in case of shortfalls
- Stock taking and coordination as well as ensuring that stock valuation is keyed in the system
- Ensure that all beverage and food items required are available in the system
- Ensure standard stocks of operating equipment
- Ensure daily and monthly stock takes are done
- Ensure that any variances are well reconciled, reported and explained
- Responsible for overall hotel pricing and billing
- Responsible for general hotel reporting on matters pertaining cost controls and inventory
Qualifications
